    Description

Give a Caregiver a Much Needed Break!

Compassus Hospice and Palliative care in Macon is in need of volunteers who are caring and compassionate. We provide a wonderful, caring service to patients and families, but we can't do it without the help of kindhearted and selfless volunteers. We have patient caregivers who are in need of occasional relief. Volunteers are needed to provide companionship visits to our patients, so caregivers can have an opportunity to go to the grocery store, run an errand or two, or maybe even go to a doctor's appointment. Of course, volunteers who provide this type of support are well supported by our team of hospice professionals. Volunteers who serve in this capacity do not have to provide any medical care whatsoever. Volunteers only provide their caring and compassionate presence to relieve the caregivers temporarily.

Are you a caring and compassionate person who can help us meet this need?

Are you looking for a way to add greater meaning to your life?

If so, please contact Victravia Saunders, Volunteer Coordinator, at 478-663-2232.

Compassus volunteers receive excellent and comprehensive training to be both comfortable and prepared to serve.

Don't delay - people need YOU!
