At Community Emergency Service (CES) in Minneapolis, we’ve expanded our Food Market hours into more evenings to meet the growing need for food access. With federal funding cuts to SNAP and other critical programs, more families are struggling to make ends meet - and your help can make all the difference.
Evening volunteers ensure that working individuals and families who can’t visit during the day still have access to fresh, healthy food. You’ll restock shelves, sort and organize donations, assist guests with shopping, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere during these crucial after-work hours.
Evening Shifts: 4-6pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Shifts include light lifting and movement, and you can volunteer once a week, once a month, or whenever your schedule allows - you choose!
Your time means more neighbors can put food on the table.
