    Talent Acquisition Specialist (Volunteer, Remote)

    About the Role

    We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and play a key role in shaping our organization’s growth. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your HR and recruitment skills while making a meaningful impact on the lives of young adults.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the full recruitment cycle: posting job ads, screening, interviewing, and candidate selection
    • Source candidates through outreach, social media, and headhunting
    • Hire and onboard mentors and mentees for Empowered Futures programs
    • Collaborate with committee members to align on talent needs
    • Join bi-weekly Talent Acquisition Committee meetings (Tuesdays, 12:30 PM EST)
    • Participate in weekly team sync meetings (Wednesdays, 8:00 PM EST)

    Qualifications

    • 1–2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience (required)
    • At least 1 year of experience hiring mentors and mentees (preferred)
    • Background in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources (experience or studies)
    • Proficiency with Google Workspace
    • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
