    Gender Freedom Society is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as the Information Accuracy Board Chair. The role of the Information Accuracy Board Chair is crucial in ensuring that all information disseminated by the organization is accurate, reliable, and aligned with our mission and values.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide oversight and guidance to the Information Accuracy Board, ensuring that it operates effectively and efficiently.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to information accuracy and fact-checking processes.
    • Review all materials, including articles, publications, social media posts, and educational resources, to ensure accuracy and alignment with the organization's mission.
    • Conduct thorough fact-checking of all information presented by the organization, verifying sources and ensuring credibility.
    • Collaborate with other board members, staff, and volunteers to ensure consistency and accuracy in messaging across all platforms.
    • Develop training materials and provide guidance to staff and volunteers on best practices for ensuring information accuracy.
    • Act as a point of contact in the event of misinformation or inaccuracies, leading the response and correction process.

    Qualifications:

    • Passionate about promoting gender equality and dedicated to the mission of Gender Freedom Society.
    • Strong understanding of gender-related issues and familiarity with current debates, research, and best practices.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in all communications.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster a culture of accountability and transparency.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
    • Prior experience in fact-checking, research, or editorial roles preferred but not required.
