Join our Event Planning Committee for 2026 Unsung Heroes Brunch!

Do you enjoy planning events, connecting with the community, or helping raise funds for a great cause? We’re looking for dedicated event committee members to help us plan our 2026 Unsung Heroes Brunch, which is a special celebration honoring those who go above and beyond for children in our community.

As a committee member, you’ll play a key role in brainstorming event ideas, securing sponsors or auction items, spreading the word, and helping make the event a success. If you have a flair for fundraising, organizing, or simply love being part of a meaningful mission, we’d love to have you on board!

Responsibilities:

• Attend monthly in-person planning meetings in Pinellas County (January-May 2026)

• Attend 1-2 preliminary meetings before the end of 2025

• Assist with outreach, logistics, and promotion

• Share ideas, help with planning, and be part of an enthusiastic, mission-driven team

Meeting Schedule:

• Monthly meetings begin January 2026 through May 2026

• Meetings typically held on weekday evenings around 5:30 PM

• 1-2 planning meetings in late 2025 (dates TBD)

Requirements:

• Must be able to attend in-person meetings in Pinellas County

• Passion for children’s causes and community involvement

• Willingness to help fundraise, organize, and collaborate

Your time and talents will help us recognize and celebrate the everyday heroes supporting children in foster care while raising critical funds to support our programs.
