    Description

    We’re looking for an experienced fundraising researcher or grant consultant to independently identify and catalogue potential EU funding opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep research, is comfortable working independently, and has a solid understanding of the European philanthropic landscape.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct in-depth research to identify at least 50 relevant EU-based foundations, grant-makers, and funding opportunities that align with our mission.
    • Build a well-organized, user-friendly spreadsheet or database of prospects including contact information, focus areas, application timelines, and eligibility criteria.
    • Prioritize foundations based on alignment, potential funding size, and strategic fit.
    • Communicate regularly with the Executive Director for check-ins, feedback, and alignment.
    • Provide strategic recommendations on which funders to prioritize for initial outreach or application.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in researching .
    • Familiarity with EU philanthropic trends, donor databases, and funding structures.
    • Ability to work independently, organize large volumes of data, and synthesize complex information clearly.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines without close supervision.
    • Excellent written English; knowledge of French, Spanish, or other EU languages is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
