Assisting Therapeutic Riding Classes/Barn Care/Horse Care

Do you like working outdoors with horses and the special needs community? We have the perfect opportunity for you!

Freedom Ride offers therapeutic horseback riding to individuals with special needs. We need volunteers 7 days a week to help with bran cleaning, horse care & assistance with classes. Volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years old, to apply as a volunteer please visit our website www.freedomride.com, print & complete the volunteer application forms then submit them to Freedom Ride. After a volunteer application has been received & reviewed, the applicant will be invited to attend a New Volunteer Orientation prior to starting to volunteer. During the hot summer months June/July/August, we do not conduct any classes so all volunteer shifts revolve around horse/barn care, however, we still need volunteers 7 days a week..

The volunteer role will be explain in more detail during the orientation.

This volunteer position is very physical! All volunteer work is done outdoors. Minimum age 16.

Unfortunately we cannot accept court ordered community service.

Freedom Ride requires at least one non-family member reference. This includes teachers, counselors and close friends.

• Morning shift available every morning: 07:30 to 11:30 EST
• 13:00 to 17:00 EST
