    Description

    Hospice volunteers provide compassionate support to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. As a valued member of our hospice care team, you’ll help ensure that patients receive comfort, dignity, and companionship during their final stage of life.

    • Providing companionship through conversation, reading, music, or simply being present

    • Offering respite care to allow caregivers a short break

    • Assisting with light errands or non-medical tasks (as appropriate)

    • Supporting staff with administrative tasks or event preparation (optional)

    • Participating in bereavement support programs or follow-up calls (optional)

    • Volunteering in hospice care is a deeply meaningful experience. You’ll make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and families, gain valuable life perspective, and be part of a compassionate and supportive team.
