    Description

This is for those who want to learn about Nepali culture. You will be placed into a typical Nepali home in a village. This project has been known to pull visitors out of that “visitor’s bubble” and integrate them into the place of an accepted family member of a Nepali household. You would be “giving back” by teaching English at the community school. This is a unique and unforgettable experience [Due to school holidays these projects will remain closed during the months January & sometimes in April, July & October. You are encouraged to take part in the winter camps in January. There are also other VIN projects].

    Your Role

    • Learn Nepali language and culture through day to day activities.
    • Interact with local community members.
    • Teach basic English at school or other subject/activity of interest and need.
    • Or organize basic fun activities at early childhood development centers.
