SUMMARY:
This role is required to work with leadership in preparing the accreditation for the microbiology laboratory. A Project Leader should be able to maintain quality, safety, and control standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage laboratory accreditations and licensing requirements.
Work with the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) to get our Lab accreditation.
Connect with Internal/External stakeholders on matters related to the accreditation.
Maintain all required records for operations, licensing, and accreditations.
Develop and ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and test methods.
Lead a team to get the job done efficiently and effectively.
Attend weekly/monthly meetings as per schedule.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree completed or equivalent work experience (at least 3 years or more full-time paid corporate/non-profit work experience)
Bachelor’s degree in biology.
Technical competence in analytical chemistry and/or microbiology.
Experience in Laboratory management.
Microbiological experience is required.
Good analytical skills and willingness to learn.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Focused attention to detail and critical thinking.
