    Description

You can help people struggling with addictive problems

You can help people struggling with addictive problems. Scientific evidence shows that discussion groups work. Particularly during the pandemic, discussion groups support participants to build more positive relationships, better habits, greater capacity to cope with craving, and more productive and meaningful lives.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ADDICTIVE EXPERIENCE YOURSELF.

We are looking for individuals willing to learn a simple guided discussion format (we will train you), and volunteer approximately 1.5 hours at the same time each week, on Zoom. You will have a mentor to guide you through this process. The participants help one another. Your job is to keep the meeting on track, using a process we have developed and tested. We will find substitutes for you when you need to miss a meeting.
