Foster Dog Liaison Internship

Let's rescue Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to rescuing sick, injured and abused dogs in and around California. We rescue dogs listed for euthanasia in our overcrowded city/county run shelters and stray dogs surviving in our community. We place every rescued dog in loving temporary foster homes and rehabilitate them as we find them suitable forever homes. We do not have a brick and mortar facility as we believe every rescued dog should experience the love and warmth of a home while they await a forever family. While these rescues wait in their temporary homes, we are responsible for providing necessary supplies including food and medication refills, veterinary care as well as answering any questions our fosters may have during the process and checking in with our fosters and rescues weekly. We're looking for a dedicated animal/rescue lover with excellent customer service, organizational and comprehensive skills to help us manage and navigate our ever-growing network of foster families. Duties may include:

• Being the first form of contact for a group of 5-10 foster families
• Reporting foster needs to supervisor
• Help promote our rescue dogs on social media
• Help onboard other volunteers

As our rescue continues to grow, this volunteer position may have the opportunity for paid and/or board member staus in the future.
