    Description

    The Florida Resurrection House Mentorship Program connects adults and teens living on the FRH campus with volunteers who share similar interests in career fields, parenting, education, and life skills. Mentors offer knowledge and support to help participants on their journey to self-suffieciency.

    Volunteer Role - As a mentor you will provide support on various issues such as:

    • Career guidance
    • Parenting
    • Education
    • Life Skills

    Comittment:

    • Minimum six months
    • Weekly or biweekly meetings, with flexible scheduling
    • Focus on building a supportive, empowering connection. Your role is to listen, provide resources and help your mentee advocate for themselves as they work toward self-sufficiency.

    Goals

    • Form a meaningful, supportive relationship with adult or teen participant on their journey to self-sufficiency
    • Empower participants through guidance and shared knowledge.
    • Assist in the development of self-advocacy, life skills and access to resources that will help them suceed in various aspects of their lives.
