Ace Of Hearts Dog Rescue Adoption Event 9/27

Adoption Event Saturday, September 27th at the Petco in West Hollywood 1-6 PM.

Why: You'll be assisting an adoption event that not only gets more attention for pups in need of good homes, but also getting food, supplies, and even medication to our foster pups. You may also be raising money for the rescue which will go towards veterinary bills - we have a lot of animals in need of love and medical care!

Who: Ace of Hearts is a dog rescue foundation dedicated to rescuing dogs, the day they are to be euthanized, from various Los Angeles shelters and placing them in loving homes. We do NOT take dogs in ... we rescue only from shelters. The Ace of Hearts Foundation is in memory of "Ace", a wonderful American Bull dog who was rescued from death, and touched the lives of many!

What to Expect:

General Volunteer Responsibilities:

Setting up and tearing down the event

Preparing packages of supplies for each foster pup

Raising donations for medical procedures and dog supplies

Caring for the pups in their kennels and making sure they're content during their stay

Interacting with potential adopters and guests

Being awesome!

Transportation Volunteer Responsibilites:

Not all of our fosters can make it to our event, so we ask for a little extra help from other volunteers to help get them to get the supplies we need. Let us know which dogs you can take, some are close to each other! You can come around 3:30 pm to 5 pm to pick up the supplies.

Doggie Chefs Responsibilities:

We need LOTS of homemade food for all of our dogs, so let us know if you can help out and we can provide you with some handy-dandy dog food recipes (:

What's Required:

Attending the event from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Volunteers must be 18 years of age, or with a guardian who is old enough to sign the volunteer waiver on your behalf and provide supervision.
