    MobilizeGreen is helping you build the skills to start your environmental career. The Leadership & Career Essentials for the Green Economy is a six-week, interactive online program designed for motivated students and recent graduates who want to explore careers in the environmental, sustainability, or nonprofit sectors. Whether you’re pursuing a degree in environmental science, taking climate-focused courses, or just passionate about making a difference, this training gives you the tools to turn interest into action—and action into a career path.

    • Format: Virtual – includes live and self-paced components
    • Duration: 6 weeks
    • Time Commitment: 4 hours per week

    What You Will Learn:

    Each week of the Green Career Readiness Training focuses on a key area of career development—blending sustainability awareness with professional growth.

    • Week 1: Intro to Green Careers: Explore roles in climate, sustainability, and environmental justice. Discover where your interests and skills align within the green economy.
    • Week 2: Building Your Professional Persona: Create a polished resume, strengthen your LinkedIn profile, and learn how to brand yourself for purpose-driven work.
    • Week 3: Networking 101: Gain tools for building relationships—with peers, mentors, and professionals—using strategies that feel authentic and accessible.
    • Week 4: How to Be a Leader: Develop early-career leadership skills: learn how to manage up, contribute on teams, and grow your voice in mission-driven spaces.
    • Week 5: Interviewing 101: Learn how to articulate your strengths and experiences, preparing you to tackle any interview scenario with confidence and professionalism.
    • Week 6: Communication and Project Management: Gain technical skills in managing long-term projects through time management and communicate your project's impact.

    By the end of the six weeks, you’ll walk away with real tools, clearer direction, and the confidence to take your next step in the green sector.
