Program Development Co-Lead - EF Connect (Remote/Unpaid Volunteer)

Join Empowered Futures as a Program Development Co-Lead - EF Connect and take a hands-on leadership role in managing the operational heartbeat of our mentorship program. EF Connect matches emerging adults with experienced mentors, and as Co-Lead, you will share responsibility for ensuring seamless onboarding, pairing, communication, and ongoing mentor/mentee engagement.

This position is ideal for someone who excels in coordination, relationship management, and operational execution. You’ll work alongside the Program Development Lead and Program Coordinators to maintain a structured, high-quality mentorship experience that empowers participants to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Lead in managing the day-to-day logistics of EF Connect.

• Oversee onboarding processes for mentors and mentees, ensuring timely communication and resource delivery.

• Collaborate on mentor/mentee pairing and monitor match progress.

• Coordinate with Engagement Specialists, Onboarding Specialists, and Data & Feedback Analysts to maintain a consistent participant experience.

• Ensure program timelines, deliverables, and milestones are met.

• Identify and troubleshoot challenges impacting participant satisfaction.

• Maintain clear documentation of program processes and participant records.

• Act as a point of contact for mentor/mentee inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education or coursework in education, program coordination, social sciences, business administration, or a related field.

• Experience in program coordination, volunteer management, or mentorship.

• Strong organizational and administrative skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work alongside diverse teams.

• Proficient in using digital tools for remote work and program tracking.

• Passionate about youth empowerment, mentorship, and community building.
