    Description

    Northern California Regional Leadership Council

Brady United Against Gun Violence is looking for volunteers in Northern California who are passionate about ending gun violence. The Regional Leadership Council is a volunteer board that helps Brady raise funds for life saving programs across the country either through personal donations or networks including family, friends, and corporate donors.

In addition, some volunteers choose to participate in community outreach priorities, such as persuading local media stations to donate airtime to the "End Family Fire" safe gun storage campaign in partnership with the Ad Council, or writing opinion pieces e.g. to broaden awareness of Gun Violence Restraining Orders that can avert tragedies and mass shootings, or working with elected officials on specific life saving legislation e.g. to ban untraceable ghost guns or to require that local gun dealers implement best practices preventing the sale of crime guns.
