    Description

    Resource Management Projects

Pitch in and help maintain and improve South Platte Park, an 880-acre natural open space park in Littleton. Typically, we meet once or twice a month (Wed and/or Thursday mornings) and perform a variety of projects to improve the habitat and the visitor experience. Group volunteer sessions will resume in the summer of 2021. This opportunity is for volunteers ready to make a 6 month minimum commitment, not for someone wanting only one or two shifts.

Typical tasks include pulling weeds, mulching trees and shrubs and maintaining a native plant garden. Occasionally there will be opportunities on Saturday morning as well.
