    Description

Use your dynamite PR, Digital Marketing and Fundraising Talents to help Safeguard Young Hearts!

Put your Digital PR, Marketing, and Fundraising skills to use by expanding CHAD's awareness of Sudden Cardiac Death in Young Athletes on social media and press. Help us support our new focus, a "Heart-Healthy Living Program for the Young through Diet, Exercise, and Monthly Zoom talks from Cardiologists, Fitness, and Nutrition Professionals"; seek out Celebrity Chefs, Fitness and Sport Experts, and renowned Heart doctors who want to share their expertise on a featured monthly Zoom talk to help parents be informed. Help us promote the foundation book, "CHAD, A Celebration of Life - Beyond A Mother’s Memories." This uplifting memoir celebrates the Lives of young athletes lost to Sudden Cardiac Death and the Survivors who live because of preventive screenings, CPR, and AEDs, and has the endorsement of Adam Silver, the NBA Commissioner. The CHAD Foundation for Athletes and Artists has provided 10,000 heart screenings to athletes and students. It is the first book that details the history of the movement to screen young hearts through preventive Echocardiograms and EKGS and includes countries, worldwide sports organizations, and scientific research that support these life-saving tests. Volunteer retired professionals are welcome, and college students can gain valuable experience on heart health and safeguarding young hearts!

The foundation's namesake, Chad Alan Butrum, was only 26 years old when he died of "Sudden Cardiac in Young Athletes," while playing football with no history of heart problems. He lived his life caring about the health and welfare of all people, regardless of age, orientation, or heritage-"Healthy Body, Mind, and Spirit." Chad never drank alcohol, smoked cigarettes, or did drugs. He loved sports and eating good food. His non-profit foundation is founded on the values he lived by so that others may live long, healthy lives and achieve their greatest dreams. Thank you for your gifts of service and caring about young hearts.
