    Looking for a fun place to be?  Volunteer @ Maine Mineral and Gem Museum.

    Volunteer in beautiful Bethel @ MMGM where no two days are the same. Museum visitors , school groups, bus groups - everyone a different experience.

    Broaden your knowledge, gain new skills and revive dormant ones - history, geology, minerals, gems and meteorites - we have it all. Help visitors find what inspires them, lead school groups and families on a path to lifelong informal learning and find your special place filled with like minded people.

    As a Maine Mineral and Gem Volunteer you will:

    • discover something new every visit
    • immerse yourself in hidden natural wonders
    • gain a greater understanding of your natural enviroment
    • revisit your previous passions
    • join a community that shares your interests
