    Description

    Are you 55 or older and looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? ADVOCAP’s RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to recruit senior volunteers who want to make a real, hands-on difference in the lives of local families.

    No construction experience? No problem! We welcome all skill levels - just bring a willing spirit and a heart to serve.

    Do you have a heart for service and a few hours to spare? Join Habitat for Humanity in making a lasting impact right here in our community! We're looking for dedicated volunteers to help us with a variety of essential behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our mission moving forward.

    Volunteer Roles Needed:

    Grant Writing and Research Assistance - Help us secure funding by drafting or editing grant proposals.

    Family Mentors - Support partner families through the homeownership process with guidance and encouragement.

    Light Office Cleaning - Keep our space welcoming and organized.

    Mailings & Filing - Assist with prepping mail, sorting, and filing important documents.

    Social Media Help - Share our mission online! Help create and schedule posts.

    Sorting & Organizing - Keep our materials, documents, and supplies in order.

    Poster Boards & Displays - Use your creative side to help prepare presentation materials for events.

    Fundraising Support - Assist with planning and coordinating fundraising events and donations.

    Booth Support - Represent Habitat at local events and community fairs by helping staff informational booths and interacting with the public.

    No construction experience required - just a willing heart and a bit of your time!

    Mondays & Wednesdays | 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
