Don't Let Them Face End of Life Alone - Support Patients & Families in Hospice

"People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within". Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Respect. Compassion. Integrity. Make a difference in the life of another person by simply sharing your time, attention, and compassion. Use your creative strengths and interests as you aid in the living of someone who faces a terminal illness.

Our office provides care to patients in many areas in Houston. We provide a wide variety of opportunities and meet you where you are! Our volunteers give their time as they are able and we create a volunteer schedule with you based on your availability.

Opportunities include, but are not limited to:

    • Patient Care - visit patients and provide a listening ear
    • Administrative - provide support at our office in Rochelle, IL
    • Paws for Patients - volunteer with your dog
    • Veteran to Veteran - connect over shared experiences, participate in Veteran honoring ceremonies
    • Music & Memory - provide live music or contribute in making personalized playlists for patients with dementia
    • Bereavement - support loved ones through mailings and phone calls to families
