    Volunteer Coordinator/Recruiter

    VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

    Cat Rescue and Adoption Network (CRAN) is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator/Recruiter to help with recruitment and retention of volunteers.

    Responsibilities may include:

    • Recruitment & Retention: Attract and retain volunteers to support our cause.
    • Communication: Respond to phone calls and website applications within a given number of days via email or phone. Determine volunteers' areas of interest and commitment levels.
    • Coordination: Forward volunteer information to the appropriate person for training and next steps.
    • Organization: Maintain an online master list of volunteers. Use this list to send occasional emails soliciting volunteers for open positions or requested information.
    • Event Planning: Coordinate and plan summer and winter appreciation events with the support of recruited volunteers.

    Requirements:

    • Timeliness: Ability to respond promptly and effectively.
    • Detail-Oriented: Track details and follow-up consistently.
    • Organizational Skills: Maintain an organized database of volunteers and coordinate events smoothly.
    • Time commitment: 6-8hrs per week. We ask for a long term commitment that will fill your heart with joy.
