Whether you are available regularly or just occasionally, our Clean Team needs you!
The dedicated volunteers who form the Clean Team meet every Thursday afternoon at the Way Forward distribution center to make the food pantry and clothing center shine for our guests and to maintain best practices for health and safety.
It's not high profile work, but as the Clean Team members say, "You make a difference in just 1.5 hours a week and you get to see the results of your work before you leave. It's a great team. Everyone works well together and we have a great time."
No experience is necessary and all training will be provided including ongoing support from WayForward staff and experienced volunteers.
"The Clean Team" is fun, easy, and vital to our mission of serving our community!
"The Clean Team" is entrusted with the following tasks and responsibilities in our Distribution Center:
Sweep and/or mop floors
Vacuum rugs
Wipe down surfaces
Other tasks, as needed
