    Description

Job Coach – Brown Reentry Consulting LLC

Brown Reentry Consulting LLC is a mission‑driven workforce reintegration firm dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and those with criminal backgrounds as they reenter the workforce. We partner closely with the Department of Corrections and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation to provide high‑quality employment support, job placement, and on‑the‑job coaching. Our work requires consistency, professionalism, and a deep commitment to the success of the clients we serve.

    Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Job Coach to join our team. Reliability is critical in this role due to the nature of our company and the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working with individuals who have adverse backgrounds, and able to represent Brown Reentry Consulting with integrity and professionalism.

The Job Coach plays a hands‑on, on‑site role in supporting clients as they transition into the workforce. This position requires direct supervision, consistent presence, and active coaching throughout each client’s work shift. The Job Coach meets the client at their job location, stays with them for the entire duration of their shift, and provides real‑time guidance to ensure they understand and complete their assigned tasks correctly and safely. This includes modeling appropriate workplace behavior, helping the client stay on task, reinforcing employer expectations, and stepping in with support when challenges arise.

This is a travel‑based position, supporting clients across Philadelphia, Montgomery County, and Delaware County.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor and supervise assigned clients throughout the duration of their work shifts.
    • Arrive on time, up to 10 minutes before the client’s shift, and remain until the client is picked up at the end of the shift.
    • Communicate with workplace managers to obtain weekly schedules and ensure clarity around job expectations.
    • Communicate with each client’s support team to confirm availability, report updates, and relay any changes in work conditions or performance.
    • Provide on‑site coaching to ensure clients complete job tasks to the satisfaction of their employer.
    • Maintain daily case notes at the conclusion of each shift, documenting progress, concerns, and relevant observations.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma required.
    • Reliable transportation or a personal vehicle is mandatory.
    • High reliability and strong commitment to consistent attendance.
    • Professional demeanor and ability to represent Brown Reentry Consulting with integrity.
    • Comfortable working with individuals who have disabilities and/or criminal backgrounds.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate as part of a team.
    • Ability to use a smartphone for communication, scheduling, and documentation.
    • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple clients across different locations.
    • We are a second‑chance employer; however all candidates must be able to pass a 7‑year background screening.
