BTru is a service-learning program that bridges schools, corporations, and communities to create meaningful social impact. Founded by a Boston Public Schools teacher, BTru empowers students to develop empathy, leadership, and social responsibility through hands-on service projects.
We serve students in diverse communities, partnering with corporate volunteers to implement projects that meet local needs. Examples include creating kindness cards for peers and staff, supporting food banks, and making gifts for senior centers.
Our core values are empathy, empowerment, collaboration, and altruism. By engaging both students and corporate volunteers, BTru models generosity, strengthens community connections, and inspires a culture of service that extends well beyond the classroom.
