Cause Campaign Partners is hiring an Organizing Director to provide support for a multi-year grassroots organizing project to build political power in key regions around the country, develop strong volunteer networks, and amplify organizing actions and earned media efforts for Alaska Wilderness League. The director will work closely with the Arctic Defense Campaign to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the Western Arctic Reserve, and will support other Alaska land and water protection campaigns as needed.
The Organizing Director will be responsible for designing, managing, implementing, and executing the organizing program objectives across multiple regions. The Organizing Director will lead efforts to set priorities and implement campaign-wide grassroots engagement, volunteer leadership development, education, and mobilization activities. The ideal applicant has electoral and issue campaign experience, is an excellent people manager, is fully fluent in organizing that is based on building relationships (as opposed to mobilizing) as a way to build volunteer power, works well in a fast-paced environment, and has a commitment to protecting the Arctic and building people-driven campaigns.
This is a full-time salaried position. Location of the candidate is flexible to some degree, but applicants should be comfortable with monthly travel to multiple campaign regions across the country and have easy access to a domestic airport.
