    Description

    Location: Remote

    Type: Contractor (Part-time)

Contract Length: Est. 100 hours across 12 – 16 weeks

    Rate: $150-200/hr, depending on experience

    About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused contractor and partner to add operational capacity across two closely related areas of our work:

      • High-level project management across concurrent client projects, and
      • Operationalizing a new education strategy, moving offerings from concept through launch and into ready-state delivery.

While these efforts differ somewhat in content, they require the same core capabilities: strong project management, comfort with ambiguity, systems thinking, and the ability to translate strategy into action. This role is designed for someone who brings structure, momentum, and follow-through to complex work.

    Core Responsibilities

The Operations & Execution Lead will be responsible for driving accountability and progress across our core consulting work and growth strategy. Core responsibilities include:

      • Translating goals, ideas, and strategies into clear work plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
      • Understanding the relationship across multiple streams of work simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and priority alignment
      • Building and maintaining MVP project trackers, roadmaps, and documentation that support visibility and decision-making
      • Understanding and documenting deadlines and dependencies across internal team members and projects
      • Proactively identifying risks, capacity constraints, and bottlenecks—and recommending practical solutions
      • Creating lightweight, scalable processes and systems that improve consistency and execution as work grows
      • Communicating progress, challenges, and next steps clearly to leadership and stakeholders

In practice, this means helping client work stay on track while also ensuring that new initiatives move from idea to live, operational programs that can be sustained and improved over time.

    Ideal Candidate Profile

You are likely a strong fit if you:

      • Have experience in nonprofit operations, consulting, or mission-driven organizations
      • Have experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders at once without dropping details
      • Bring a strong system and process mindset, not just task management
      • Have helped take new programs, services, or products from concept to execution
      • Are proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
      • Enjoy creating order in complex environments and helping teams execute more effectively
      • Communicate clearly and professionally
      • Can have fun in a collaborative work setting, while driving results

    Bonus (but not required):

      • Experience with digital education, training programs, or content-based offerings
      • Familiarity with nonprofit technology, data, or CRM-adjacent work
      • Startup, accelerator, or early-stage initiative experience

    What Success Looks Like

      • Active projects are organized, predictable, and moving forward with minimal friction
      • Leadership has confidence in timelines, priorities, and execution status
      • New education initiatives progress steadily from early stage to launch
