    Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Manager will play a critical role in supporting financial operations, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management, ideally within a political campaign setting, enabling them to keep pace within a fast moving environment and understand the unique challenges and regulatory requirements associated with campaign finance as it relates to accounts payable.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including payment approvals, invoice processing and vendor management.
    • Work with the finance and compliance team to ensure federal, state, and local campaign finance regulations are met.
    • Month end Reconciliation of Credit Card Statements
    • Support the preparation of financial statements and documentation for audits.
    • Maintain accurate financial records and files, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
    • Liaise with vendors and contractors, adhering to vendor credentialing policy.
    • Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • 2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on accounts payable.
    • Previous experience working on political campaigns or in a non-profit organization is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Sheets.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
