Over the past 30 years, the Bonner Group has developed and executed successful fundraising programs for a wide variety of clients including major non-profit organizations, Presidential campaigns, House, Senate and Gubernatorial campaigns, ballot initiatives, capital campaigns, and '527' organizations.

    JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional to join our team as Director of Operations & Events, with a strong emphasis on event planning and logistics. In this key role, you will oversee complex schedules while managing the planning and execution of high-profile meetings, conferences, and events. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, expertly juggling multiple priorities while demonstrating reliability, discretion, and sound judgment. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with senior leadership, executives, consultants, clients, vendors, and internal teams.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Schedule and Event Management: Create, manage, and maintain complex schedules, integrating key meetings, events, and deadlines to ensure alignment and efficiency.
    • Event Planning and Execution: Plan, coordinate, and manage high-profile meetings, conferences, and events from start to finish. Secure appropriate venues, coordinate with vendors, and oversee all logistics, including catering, audiovisual support, transportation, accommodations, and on-site execution.
    • Vendor and Logistics Management: Act as the primary contact for venues and external partners. Negotiate contracts, ensure all logistical requirements are met, and proactively resolve issues to guarantee smooth, seamless events.
    • Itineraries and Briefing Materials: Develop detailed agendas, itineraries, and briefing documents to ensure all participants are fully prepared and aligned.
    • Operational Oversight: Manage daily workflows, prioritize tasks, and implement efficient processes to support smooth operations across events and activities.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Dependable and Proactive: Reliable, responsive, and able to take initiative with minimal supervision; must be able to work in person five days a week.
    • Adaptable: Thrives in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment, comfortably navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities. Skilled at managing relationships across multiple professionals.
    • Personable and Professional: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage confidently with leadership, clients, and vendors while maintaining discretion.
    • Highly Organized and Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities and streamline operations.
    • Team player: Builds positive working relationships, approachable, and willing to support colleagues.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
    • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations, scheduling, executive support, or a similar role, preferably in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
