We are seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee and guide our entire marketing function and help us grow thoughtfully and sustainably.

    Role Overview

The Marketing Manager will own the firm’s marketing strategy end-to-end. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys high-level oversight, strategic thinking, and quality control, rather than day-to-day posting. You will review and approve content, recommend growth strategies, manage vendors or freelancers as needed, and ensure our marketing efforts align with professional standards and firm goals.

This is a leadership role with real influence over how the firm shows up in the market.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with CPA and nonprofit standards
    • Maintain a consistent brand voice and professional tone across all platforms
    • Guide content direction without needing to personally create every asset

    Campaign & Channel Management

    • Oversee email marketing, website updates, blog strategy, and social media presence
    • Coordinate with internal team members or external freelancers/agencies
    • Ensure campaigns are executed on time and within scope

    Analytics & Reporting

    • Track marketing performance and lead quality (not just vanity metrics)
    • Provide regular insights and recommendations to firm leadership
    • Adjust strategy based on results and business priorities

    Collaboration & Leadership

    • Work closely with partners and leadership to align marketing with services offered
    • Act as the central point of accountability for all marketing efforts
    • Bring proactive ideas to the table — this role is expected to lead, not wait for direction

    Qualifications & Experience

    • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in:
      • Professional services (CPA, law, consulting, finance), or
      • Nonprofit-focused organizations
    • Proven experience developing and overseeing marketing strategies
    • Strong content review and editing skills
    • Understanding of long sales cycles and trust-based marketing
    • Comfortable working independently and advising leadership
    • Experience managing vendors, freelancers, or agencies is a plus

    • Strategic thinker who understands professional credibility
    • Detail-oriented and comfortable reviewing compliance-sensitive content
    • Confident decision-maker who can say “yes,” “no,” or “not yet”
    • Organized, proactive, and clear communicator
    • Someone who values mission-driven work and long-term relationships
