Partner Community Capital is seeking a Senior Underwriter to play a pivotal role in evaluating, structuring, and managing our small business lending portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to help make a meaningful difference for entrepreneurs in underserved markets. The Senior Underwriter reports to the EVP, Chief Credit Officer.
The Senior Underwriter is a key member of PCAP’s lending team, responsible for evaluating and underwriting loan requests, managing the loan pipeline, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services to small business clients. This role works closely with lenders, analysts, referral partners, and community stakeholders to advance PCAP’s mission while maintaining strong portfolio performance and compliance standards.
You will bring deep credit expertise, sound judgment, and strong relationship management skills to help PCAP scale responsibly and deliver flexible, mission-centered capital to those who need it most.

Compensation, Benefits, and Location:
This position offers a competitive salary, $83,000 to $110,000 commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, hybrid position; candidates must be within a commutable distance to Winston-Salem, Durham or Asheville, North Carolina.
