Raise for Good seeks a Manager, Partnerships to serve as a client-facing project leader, ensuring the successful execution of consulting engagements. This role works closely with the Director of Strategic Operations, Chief Impact Officer, and senior team members to deliver high-quality strategy, operations, and fundraising support to our partners — ranging from tech nonprofits to venture philanthropies.
This role will serve as a fundraising execution lead for client engagements — driving strategy, creating deliverables, and leading account management — while contributing to business development efforts to retain and grow partnerships. You’ll project manage across transformational partnerships, driving vision for engagements, managing cross-functional teams, and building scalable systems that strengthen Raise for Good’s client delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong fundraising knowledge, strategic project management expertise, excellent customer service, and the ability to create a high-value experience for both internal teams and client partners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising Strategy & Execution
- Collaborate with executive sponsors (ES) on client fundraising strategy; execute on deliverables including research, donor triangulation, messaging, and fundraising strategy.
- Provide strategic funder research and translate program goals and financial data into funder-ready communications and reports.
- Serve as fundraising trends and insights lead — curating best practices, funder news, and insights to equip client leads and inform team development.
- Manage up to fundraising leads, delivery team members, and CEO to ensure momentum and alignment with client goals.
Partner & Account Project Management
- Lead account management across transformational and growth-stage partnerships, serving as day-to-day project manager ensuring scope, deliverables, and timelines are achieved.
- Lead client onboarding, weekly communications, and deliverables tracking to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Drive vision and strategy architecture for engagements in partnership with ES with a focus on continuous value creation for partners.
- Manage cross-functional team members, proactively assess risks, and manage stakeholder expectations — exercising autonomy to make judgment calls and escalating when needed to ensure projects stay on track.
- Responsible for client success metrics, internal resourcing management to drive revenue and impact success.
Systematization & Standardization
- Codify best practices into playbooks and checklists; build an internal knowledge base of high-quality deliverables and case studies.
- Support implementation of tools and systems that improve efficiency, drive AI adoption, and strengthen team collaboration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate across functions to ensure smooth integration of deliverables; support creation of client-facing collateral.
- Contribute to business development efforts including prospect research and proposal development, as needed.
- Coordinate with marketing/communications contractors and advisors as needed for project-related outputs.
- Manage and mentor research analysts or associates, as needed.
Outcome: Implement a "way of working" that delivers a high-value experience for teams and client partners while contributing to Raise for Good revenue and profitability.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- 30 Days - Build Trust & Onboard: Build relationships with the CEO, Director of Strategic Operations, CIO, and consulting team. Onboard to active engagements, and develop project plans for at least one client. Establish trust as a responsive, detail-oriented client-facing partner.
- 60 Days - Create the Roadmap: Independently manage at least 2 client projects. Begin executing a "way of working" to increase productivity. Lead execution of at least one fundraising deliverable (e.g., grant proposal, funder brief, or case for support) with minimal oversight. Identify at least one process improvement opportunity and propose a solution.
- 90 Days - Lead with Impact: Lead client engagement(s) alongside Executive Sponsors (ES) with increasing ownership. Save ES or CEO 15% of their time on client accounts. PM standards adopted across active engagements. Anticipate and proactively manage risks, escalating when necessary.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–10 years in account management, project management, fundraising, or consulting in nonprofit or social impact sectors.
- Strong fundraising background including grant writing, donor cultivation, funder research, and strategy development.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, client-facing projects and support executives in fast-paced environments.
- Strong detail orientation, organizational skills, and excellent follow-through across multiple projects.
- Excellent written communication; able to create professional client-facing materials.
- AI literate with the ability to integrate AI tools into daily workflows for research, productivity, and decision-making.

- Annual salary: $90,000- $105,000 base
