Harmon Curran helps progressive nonprofit organizations and the funders and individuals who support them with the full scope of legal issues they most commonly confront. We are a small, collegial, mission-driven firm that has been in existence for more than 50 years.
The Job:
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5-7 years of nonprofit law experience.

Requirements:
Qualified candidates will be motivated self-starters with strong academic credentials, excellent writing and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle complicated matters with minimal supervision. Candidates should also be able to work both independently and as part of a group, have strong attention to detail, be comfortable managing multiple and varied client requests, and be able to quickly digest and provide advice regarding new state and federal laws. Candidates must be a member of or be eligible for admission to the DC Bar. Candidates for this position must be located in the DC area or willing to relocate; candidates not currently located in the DC area should indicate their willingness to relocate in their cover letter.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) position with an expected annual salary of $140,000 - $170,000 (commensurate with experience). We offer 4 weeks of vacation plus sick days, generous medical benefits, 401k with match, and annual profit sharing.
The selected candidate will have the option to work out of our downtown DC office or remotely from home.
