    Paradiplomacia.org and UCLG launch a global call to publish in a new edition of TIP Journal

    The academic journal Research Papers in Paradiplomacy (TIP) opens the call for proposals for articles that will be part of its next edition. This edition will be developed in co-production with UCLG – United Cities and Local Governments, the largest network of local and regional governments in the world, and a global reference body in multilateral cooperation between local governments and in the promotion of synergies in the international arena.

    Researchers, academics, students, representatives of local governments, international cooperation agencies, civil society organizations, universities and research centers, as well as all those involved in decentralized international cooperation processes or in the international action of local governments, can apply.

    How to Join

    To present an article in TIP Magazine, an article proposal must be submitted with the following

    characteristics:

    • The text must be original and unpublished.
    • The text must adhere to the TIP editorial criteria.
    • The text will be delivered in an electronic file in standard format of the Microsoft Word program (.doc or .docx). This document must not contain personal data of the author.
    • Sheet Size: A4
    • Source: Calibri, 12 points away
    • Line spacing: Single
    • Alignment: Justified
    • Maximum length of the proposal: 1,000 words (not counting bibliography)
    • The text must contain a proposal for a theoretical-conceptual framework and a methodological one.
    • Language: Spanish, Portuguese, French or English (TIP journal may request the author to translate the original articles into another language).
    • Bibliographic references

    Along with the proposal, the following information must be attached in a separate file:

    • Title of the article.
    • Full name of the main author and co-authors.
    • Academic degree.
    • Institution of affiliation of each one.
    • Phone number, including country code and local area code.
    • Email.

    All proposals should be sent by email to the following address: tip@paradiplomacia.org, no later than November 28, 2025.

    The Editorial Team of the TIP Journal may reject a paper if it does not meet the aforementioned requirements. Proposals that are received outside the date established in this call will not be taken into consideration.
