New Year Recycling Day

Please save the date for our annual Pope Band High School Recycling Day Fundraiser at the Northeast Cobb YMCA, located at 3010 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, GA, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Let’s support the Pope High School Band and Global Paint for Charity!

Participants can bring hard-to-recycle materials, any amount of paint per vehicle, electronics, appliances, and boxes of paper documents for proper disposal and shredding. There’s a fee of $15 per vehicle, with additional disposal fees based on the size of your items. Payment is accepted by cash, check, or credit card. You may request a tax-deduction receipt for your paint donation to support our free paint donation program. It is a win-win; rain or shine, we will see you there.

you live within a 5-mile radius of Pope High School, we can arrange for

pickup of your donations during the week preceding the event with a

We also seek volunteers to assist with event setup,

unloading vehicles, and processing paint donations. Volunteers who

commit to a minimum of 5 hours will receive Pope T-shirts, PPE, masks,
