International Women's Month: Philanthropy Leadership & Service Day

In honor of International Women’s Month, She Is Kingdom, She Is M.I.S.S., a faith-based philanthropic organization, will be hosting a Philanthropy Leadership & Service Day to inspire and activate the next generation of changemakers across Chicago. This hands-on service experience will support a local organization while demonstrating the power of collective impact, generosity, and leadership through action.

Guided by our mission to empower youth girls and young women of color to become philanthropic leaders through volunteerism, community service, philanthropy, and intentional giving, this event creates intentional pathways for participants to step forward as philanthropic contributors and emerging social impact leaders.

While intentionally centered on elevating youth girls and young women of color ages 14–25 as leaders within the Chicagoland community, we proudly welcome all girls and young women within this age range who are passionate about service, growth, and making a meaningful difference.

Join us for a transformative day that strengthens communities while empowering the next generation of faith-inspired philanthropic leaders.

Volunteer Requirements

• Girls and young women ages 14–25
• Desire to serve and positively impact the community
• Willingness to actively participate in volunteer activities
• Ability to collaborate respectfully with peers and community partners
