    Description

    Manhattan Borough President-elect Brad Hoylman-Sigal seeks a Director of Scheduling to be part of his new team. The Director will be part of the Office of the Manhattan Borough President’s (MBPO) senior team and will report to the Chief of Staff.

    Candidates must have excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

    Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Borough President Office’s Scheduling Unit;
    • With support from the Scheduling Unit, manage and maintain the Borough President’s calendar;
    • Facilitate consistent communication between the Borough President, Senior Staff, and the Scheduling Unit;
    • Collaborate with Senior Staff to prioritize conflicts;
    • Troubleshoot unforeseen issues or changes quickly and professionally;
    • Contribute to planning and strategy discussions;
    • Ensure the coordination of Borough President’s travel logistics;
    • Assist the Borough President with special tasks, as needed.

    The salary range for this role is $90,000-$110,000, commensurate with experience.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in an area related to duties described above

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Excellent time management skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
