    The Center to Improve Veteran Involvement in Care is a Research Center of Innovation at the VA Portland Health Care System that aims to empower patients to improve their health by enhancing active participation of them and their supports in healthcare (http://www.portlandcoin.research.va.gov/). Our researchers’ interests are diverse but focus on enhancing the effectiveness of prevention, treatment, and delivery of healthcare. Under the supervision of the Principle Investigator (PI), the Research Assistant provides support to multiple projects intended to advance the scientific understanding of common and important health care problems and conditions that affect Veterans.
