    The New Jersey Department of the Public Advocate is a newly re-established executive department of the state dedicated to making government more accountable and more responsive to the needs of average New Jerseyans. Our mission is to provide a “voice of the people” on a range of issues through advocacy, investigations of abuse and neglect, community partnerships, legislative and regulatory advocacy, policy work, education and outreach.
