    Description

    Our client, a national environmental nonprofit organization is seeking a temporary Donor Database Coordinator to support its planned giving program and legacy society. This role will focus on donor data entry support. The position also provides administrative assistance and helps manage day-to-day tasks related to donor engagement and stewardship. This is a contract position slated to start at the end of September and run through December 2025. We are looking for someone who can commit to the full duration of the assignment.

    Responsibilities:

    Under the direction of the Senior Director of Planned Giving, the Planned Giving Associate will:

      • Manage data entry for planned giving constituents, including updates to contact information, coding constituent records, and maintaining data for reporting.
      • Respond to donor inquiries via email and letter using organization-approved templates.
      • Scan and file donor response cards and related correspondence.
      • Prepare and send welcome packets, birthday cards, thank-you notes, and other donor stewardship materials.
      • Track and process planned giving-related expenses.
      • Support other administrative tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience working with databases (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
      • Familiarity with donor database platforms (Raiser’s Edge/NXT preferred).
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
      • Experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, or nonprofit work is a plus.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • High attention to detail and professionalism.
      • Experience working with donors or customers is a plus.
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

    Hourly: $26/h

    Schedule: Full- time; Hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office/ Monday and Friday Remote)
