    Position Overview

    The Integrated Wellness Clinicians provide trauma-informed clinical oversight and direct behavioral health services within DASH’s Programs portfolio. These roles support the mental and emotional wellness of program participants by ensuring high-quality, survivor-centered clinical care and coordination. The Integrated Wellness Clinicians offer both clinical supervision to DASH’s direct service staff and therapeutic support directly to participants, with a focus on promoting recovery, stability, and long-term well-being.

    Specific areas of responsibility include:

    Direct Services (65%)

    Direct Clinical Services

    • Delivers direct therapeutic services to program participants, including individual counseling, therapeutic and psychoeducational groups, and crisis support.
    • Works in partnership with the Program leadership team, Economic Advancement Specialist, and Resident / Community Coach & Systems Navigators to ensure participants receive comprehensive, coordinated services.
    • Participates in quarterly care conferences for each participant to support integrated, holistic service planning and monitor progress across goals.
    • Develops and implements group curricula to support holistic wellbeing, with a focus on trauma recovery, emotional regulation, relationships, wellness, and empowerment.

    Clinical Supervision and Oversight

    • Provides clinical supervision to direct service staff at least bi-weekly, supporting effective treatment planning, appropriate interventions, and participant progress monitoring.
    • Participates in the rotation of on-call responsibilities as a supervisor, providing effective response and resolution to matters requiring attention outside of core service hours.

    General

    • Understands relevant grant requirements and helps to ensure program and service delivery balances grant requirements and DASH’s trauma-based, survivor-informed values. Helps to ensure program and service compliance.
    • Maintains detailed records of participant progress throughout their program participation.
    • Contributes to the delivery of workplans, deliverables, data collection, and reporting for the Residential Programs / Community Housing Programs team.

    Non-Managerial Leadership and Team Coordination (20%)

    • Contributes to the development of organizational strategies, ensuring that programmatic goals align with DASH’s broader mission and vision.
    • Maintains effective working relationships with all employees. Demonstrates a great degree of discretion, flexibility, and cooperation.
    • Participates in ongoing coaching, supporting a culture of continuous learning and skill development to enhance effectiveness in delivering high-quality services to survivors.
    • Assists other team members in understanding and implementing the model of voluntary service and trauma-informed care for clients, as well as grant requirements.
    • Maintains complete survivor and/or employee confidentiality in all matters.
    • Masters, communicates, and models DASH values.

    Resource and Partnership Management (15%)

    • Maintains relationships and collaborates with program partners, volunteer groups, and culturally specific outreach centers to organize survivor-centered activities for participants.
    • Collaborates with Core Service Agencies and external behavioral health providers to ensure program participants are connected to timely and appropriate mental health and substance use services.

    Experience, Skills and Qualities

    While we understand that no single candidate can possess every qualification listed below, the following are priority areas:

    • Master's-level licensed Social Worker, Counselor, or Psychologist, with an active and unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LMSW, LICSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist) in DC.
    • At least five (5) years of clinical experience, including a minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory capacity within a behavioral health or social service setting. Must meet District eligibility to provide clinical supervision and be able to conduct bi-weekly direct supervision with case management staff.
    • Demonstrated experience providing direct clinical services to individuals impacted by trauma, including individual therapy, therapeutic groups, and psychoeducational groups.
    • Experience working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, housing instability, and complex trauma.
    • Proven ability to collaborate with behavioral health providers, including Core Service Agencies, around assessments, treatment planning, and medication management.

    Other:

    • These two positions are hybrid remote/in-person schedules. The Integrated Wellness Clinician, Intake & Residential Programs will be required to be at the Community Housing Programs office at least three days per week. The Integrated Wellness Clinician, Community Housing Programs, will be required to maintain an on-site presence at least three days per week with regular travel to community sites and participant homes.
    • Must be eligible to work in the U.S., complete a background check, and provide COVID-19 vaccination or exemption documentation.

    Compensation & Benefits

    DASH offers a competitive salary in the range of $95,000–$105,000. DASH benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, with DASH covering 90% of the employee’s premium and 80% for spouse and children; a minimum of 20 days of paid leave, 15 holidays, and a weeklong winter holiday; and a 3% DASH non-elective contribution retirement plan.
