Founded in 1963, Heartview Foundation, a substance abuse treatment center, expanded significantly in the late 20th century. After a relocation in the mid-1990s, it reopened residential treatment in 2007 and has since continued to grow, adding new resiential units and programs in various North Dakota locations through 2023.

The next CEO will manage Heartview's growth, prioritizing workforce resilience—recruitment, retention, and team development. They'll also foster transparent communication and boost operational efficiency through technology investments. Overall, the CEO will enhance the administrative foundation and align culture with Heartview's mission.

This leader will drive Heartview's mission and strategy, advocating for clients and staying current on industry trends and funding. A key responsibility involves building essential strategic partnerships to expand Heartview's reach and impact.

The ideal candidate is a proven visionary leader with significant experience in growing organizations. Passionate about Heartview's mission, they'll be a strategic, action-oriented leader, skilled in team building, external relations, and advocacy.

The compensation range for this position annually is $175,000-$225,000. A generous benefits package is offered including: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dependent Care, Employee Assistance Program. In addition to a 401(k) with employer match, a 457(b) plan is available to executives, allowing pre-tax and Roth contributions up to IRS limits.
