The academic year shifts would be Monday-Friday 3:30pm-9pm and Saturdays from 9:00am-3pm. These shifts are also shared between administrative team members.

Job Type: Part-time paid internship
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour. Eglevsky Ballet offers the highest available compensation our budget can afford as an alternative to negotiation, which can introduce bias and reflect an individual’s positional power or negotiation skills rather than their job qualifications.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required), College degree/current students ready to participate in an arts administrative internship preferred

A not-for-profit, 501 c(3) artistic organization is seeking a part-time front desk administrator and social media assistant intern. Duties include, but may not be limited to: offering administrative support across the organization, welcoming guests, a facility with correspondence via phone, email and social media. The structure of the internship will revolve around educating the intern on social media for an arts administration, grant writing, and managing a nonprofit arts organization. The successful candidate will work with most members of our small organization, learning every aspect of running a successful nonprofit ballet organization, with each season focusing on different aspects of the business. Shadowing both the Executive and Artistic Directors will be a focus of the internship. Front desk management will also be a top priority. The finer details will be tailored to the individual, the season and their chosen focus.
The organization serves students ages 3-18 and their parents/guardians; candidates should have a pleasant personality and the ability to serve as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for our diverse clientele. Reliability, promptness, discretion, consistency, a strong work ethic, and the ability to ask questions, learn, and take direction with good judgment are of the utmost importance.
