    Description

Research Topic: Comparing Legal Compliance Readiness among Informal Entrepreneurs: A Gender Analysis in Ghana.

    Background

In Ghana, both men and women operate informal businesses, but a disparity exists in their readiness to comply with regulatory requirements. This study aims to explore the differences in readiness between men and women in informal entrepreneurship to comply with regulatory requirements, with a focus on the challenges faced by women.

    Research Objectives

    1. Identify the key factors influencing men's and women's readiness to comply with regulatory requirements in informal entrepreneurship.
    2. Examine the social norms and cultural expectations affecting women's ability to comply with legal requirements in Ghana's informal sector.
    3. Investigate the implications of limited access to education, healthcare, and productive assets on women's legal compliance in informal entrepreneurship.

    Main Goal

This study seeks to investigate the complex issues surrounding gender disparity in Ghana's informal sector and contribute to a better understanding of the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, ultimately informing policies and interventions to promote greater equality and compliance.
