The Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton, New Jersey is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper (3 - 4 days/week) Candidates must have significant bookkeeping experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: payables; receivables; payroll; working closely with Executive Director to develop organizational, project and grant budgets; banking; reconciliations, deposits, tracking grant expenses; preparing for annual audit.
Successful candidates will have experience with Sage 50 accounting software, Auris (formerly Heartland) payroll services and Microsoft office, including proficiency in Excel. Candidates must have strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
The Museum offers flexible hours, paid vacation and sick leave. No health benefits are provided.
Salary: $44,500
