    What you will do:

As NRCM’s Leadership Gifts Officer, you will serve as our lead frontline fundraiser, managing a portfolio of individuals and households giving $1,000 and above, with a particular focus on cultivating gifts of $5,000 or more. You will work directly with donors to deepen their engagement, share NRCM’s vision, and inspire significant investments in our mission.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building meaningful connections, values collaboration, and enjoys blending strategy with heart.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and manage a portfolio of 150–200 donors at various stages of the giving lifecycle
    • Solicit annual, multi-year, and planned gifts aligned with donor interests
    • Provide personalized stewardship and thoughtful engagement to deepen donor commitment
    • Partner with staff and board members to inspire philanthropic support for NRCM’s work

    What you bring

    • At least 4 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, including 2 years in a frontline gift officer role
    • You have successfully cultivated and closed major gifts, meeting or exceeding fundraising goals
    • You are a clear and compelling communicator—both in writing and in person
    • You are highly organized and proactive, with strong time management skills
    • You value inclusivity, respect diverse perspectives, and are energized by meaningful work

    Bonus if you have:

    • Experience using EveryAction CRM
    • Familiarity with a moves management approach to donor engagement

    Why Join NRCM?
