Scheduling: Manage complex, high-volume daily and long-term calendars for IE leadership. Prioritize "must-attend" meetings and ensure leadership is briefed and prepared with necessary materials 24 hours in advance.

Workflow Management: Serve as the primary tracker for executive workflow. Monitor the status of memos, ad scripts, and polling briefs, ensuring they move from draft to final sign-off across departments.

Collaborate with other team members to gather the necessary information to draft/ compile, edit, and update memos and presentations.

Coordinate the collection, review, and distribution of information for key stakeholders; ensure accuracy and consistency of materials through careful review and version control

Reporting Support: Assist in tracking program spending, fundraising benchmarks, and advertising metrics to support operations teams as necessary.

Project Liaison: Act as a point of contact for external consultants and vendors to gather information, schedule briefings, and ensure deliverables are meeting HMP’s timelines.

Special Projects: Lead ad-hoc initiatives such as organizing staff retreats, streamlining internal digital filing systems, or conducting preliminary research on district-specific news.

    Qualifications:

Political Alignment: A deep, demonstrated commitment to electing House Democrats and advancing progressive values.

Relevant Experience: 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced political environment—campaigns, Hill offices, nonprofits, or consulting firms are highly preferred.

Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Google Workspace,Microsoft Excel, and experience managing data sets. Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.

Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with absolute discretion.

Communication Skills and Style: Ability to "manage up"—proactively identifying problems and offering solutions to senior staff before they become bottlenecks. Strong verbal and written intra-office skills, and the ability to work efficiently and autonomously.
