    Description

Join the Movement: Field Director (Assembly District 66)

The Candidate: Ben Yee is an educator, innovator, and democracy evangelist who has spent his life in the 66th District. He’s running an insurgent campaign to beat the Democratic establishment and return institutional power to the people. From passing more reforms than any State Committee member in 20 years to training over 8,000 New Yorkers in the mechanics of power, Ben is ready to Upgrade New York.

The Mission: We aren’t here to manage the status quo; we’re here to disrupt it. Following the path of leaders like AOC and Zohran Mamdani, we are building a grassroots operation that bypasses big-money power brokers to speak directly to the voters. We need a Field Organizer who can turn a clipboard into a tool for mass mobilization.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Supervise and motivate a team of volunteers to achieve voter contact goals
    • Develop and implement strategic outreach plans tailored to specific neighborhoods and demographics
    • Train team members on effective communication, canvassing techniques, and voter engagement strategies
    • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct regular check-ins to ensure high morale and productivity
    • Maintain accurate records of voter interactions, survey data, and campaign activities
    • Collaborate with campaign staff to adapt messaging and tactics based on voter feedback and campaign priorities
    • Manage data, supplies, and online tools to make it all work

    Who You Are:

    • Movement-Minded: You believe that a small, disciplined group of citizens can beat the machine.
    • Insurgent Spirit: You’re tired of "politics as usual" and are ready to fight for systemic progress like "Fast and Free Buses" and housing for people, not billionaires.
    • Adaptable & Scrappy: You don’t need a corporate budget to win. You use creativity, community energy, and relentless work to get results.
    • A Natural Connector: You can talk to a long-time Lower East Side resident or a West Village newcomer with the same authenticity and respect.
    • Flexible Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for campaign events
    • Local Heart (Preferred): We would love someone who knows the 66th District like the back of their hand, but if you have the drive and the values, we want to hear from you regardless of where you live.

This position is temporary and will expire at the end of the Democratic Primary on June 23rd, 2026. If victorious, the position will continue until the General Election on November 3rd, 2026.
