    Cascadia Art Museum is dedicated to celebrating and preserving Northwest art from the 1870 - 1970. Through exhibitions, publications, programs, and community engagement, we share the rich artistic legacy of our region with visitors of all ages. As we enter our second decade, Cascadia is poised for continued growth—advancing our mission through meaningful donor partnerships and expanded fundraising initiatives.

    The Event & Membership Coordinator is responsible for leading the museum’s fundraising events, overseeing the membership program, and supporting effective donor and member communications.

    This position plays a key role in growing contributed revenue by cultivating strong relationships with donors and members, stewarding existing supporters, and expanding the museum’s membership base through thoughtful engagement and well-executed programs.

    The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and brings experience in event planning, membership administration, and donor communications, along with a genuine interest in fundraising and community engagement.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead planning and execution of the annual Summer Stars Gala & Auction in August
    • Plan and coordinate donor cultivation, stewardship, and membership events
    • Manage the Cascadia Circle membership program, including event coordination and member engagement
    • Oversee the general membership program, including growth, retention, renewals, and stewardship strategies
    • Oversee member communications, including renewals, welcome materials, benefit fulfillment, and ongoing stewardship touch-points
    • Collaborate with marketing staff to promote membership campaigns
    • Track fundraising and membership metrics and prepare reports on development activities
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Highly organized, self-motivated, and committed to excellence and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated success leading or coordinating special events.
    • Experience managing or supporting a membership program preferred.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

    Part-time position – 30 hours per week. Hourly.
